Non-Conforming Structure
Jackson Zoning Ordinance § 1302-A
in effectAny non-conforming structure which was lawful before the adoption of this Ordinance
may continue to be used as long as it is adequately maintained and does not constitute a
public hazard or nuisance, and provided that it is not expanded, extended, enlarged in
floor area, or changed in basic structural design and integrity. Non-conforming
structures may be improved to an extent not exceeding fifty percent (50%) of the current
market value of the existing structure. Nothing in this Ordinance shall prevent the
strengthening or restoring to a safe condition of any portion of a building or structure
