San José Municipal Code § 20.200.1165
in effect"Solar photovoltaic system" means a system that generates electrical power through the utilization of non-mechanical semiconductor devices or photovoltaic cells, that convert sunlight into direct current electricity. (Ords. 26388, 26456, 28320, 29364.)
