"Employee Housing" as defined and regulated by the Section 17008, "Employee Housing Act," of the California Health and Safety Code. A. Pursuant to Section 17021.5 of the California Health and Safety Code, employee housing for up to six (6) persons per dwelling at one time may be permitted in a Zoning district that includes a one-family dwelling unit as an enumerated use, with the same permitting process applicable to a One-Family Dwelling. B. Pursuant to Section 17021.6 of the California Health and Safety Code, any employee housing consisting of no more than thirty-six (36) beds in a group quarter, or twelve (12) units or spaces designed for use by a single family or household, or any agricultural (farm) employee housing shall be deemed an agricultural land use for the purposes of this Section. Such use may be subject to a streamlined ministerial approval process and siting requirements pursuant to Section 17021.8 of the California Health and Safety Code. (Ord. 30984.)
