_ Building Height: The vertical distance measured from the base point of

measurement to the highest point of the parapet or coping of a flat roof, or the deck line of a mansard roof, or one-half the distance between the eave and the ridge line of the highest gable of a pitch or hip roof. When the building is within fifty (50) feet of a street right-of-way, base point of measurement shall be defined as the average elevation of the street crown on that of street occurring between the end lines of the building when projected perpendicular to the street right-of-way. When the building is more than fifty (50) feet from a street right-of-way, base point shall be defined as the average elevation of grade or paving surrounding the building.
