Correctional Facility: A facility in which persons are housed primarily for the
Jackson Zoning Ordinance § 202.41
in effectpurpose of punishment, correction, or rehabilitation following conviction of a criminal
offense. This does not include pre-release, work-release or probationary programs.
(a) Cottage Industry: A cottage industry is a micro enterprise business with a
maximum of five (5) employees that is owned and operated by an individual or a
family, typically operating out of a home rather than a purpose-built or commercial
facility.
