Pre-Existing Conditions
Jackson Zoning Ordinance § 707.08-A
in effect1. Minimum lot area and lot width measurements shall not be applicable upon
existing and developed commercial lots which do not meet such regulations at the
date of adoption of this Section.
2. Existing buildings that do not conform to the provision of this Section may
continue in use as they are until a substantial modification is requested, at which
time the Site Plan Review Committee shall determine the provisions of this Section
that shall apply.
3. The modification of existing buildings is permitted by right if such changes result
in greater conformance with the specifications of this Section.
4. Where buildings exist on adjacent lots, the Zoning Administrator may require that
a proposed building match one or the other of the adjacent setbacks and heights
rather than the provisions of this Section.
