Residential district.
San José Municipal Code § 20.200.1020
in effect"Residential district" means land located in, and the street area immediately in front of and across the street from, any areas zoned or used, in conformance with the provisions of this title, for residential use in the city, including all residential zoning districts as set forth in Chapter 20.30 of this title, and any planned development (PD) district in which residential uses are permitted.
