Miss. Code Ann. § 75-29-605
in effectAny person violating the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment; and each such violation shall constitute a separate offense.
