AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 690 AND ORDINANCE 706.1
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Mayor and Board of Alderman that there may be some misunderstanding of the wording of the Beer Ordinances permitting sale of beer for off-premises consumption as well as on-premises consumption in restaurants; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Mayor and Board of Alderman that this be clarified.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED that the sale of beer in convenience stores grocery stores and restaurants where sale is permitted, that the sale of beer shall be for on-premises and off-premises consumption as permitted by the permit of the establishment.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Alderman that the remainder of Ordinance No. 690 and Ordinance No. 706.1 in their entirety with amendments including all sections and subsections shall be brought forward and continued in full force and effect as in their original form.
This Ordinance having first been reduced to writing, then read, considered, passed and adopted and in the instance, the Board of alderman of the City of Philadelphia, Mississippi, voted as follows:
