A "single room occupancy (SRO) living unit facility" is a residential facility where individual secure rooms, of a smaller size than normally found in multiple dwellings, are rented to a one or two-person household. SRO living units are provided for a weekly or monthly period of time, in exchange for an agreed payment of a fixed amount of money or other compensation based on the period of occupancy. (Ord. 26248.)
