The following provisions apply to multifamily structures nonconforming to development standards. A. A multifamily structure nonconforming to development standards in a Lowrise 1 (LR1) zone may be expanded or extended if the expansion or extension conforms to the development standards of the zone and does not cause an already nonconforming structure to become more nonconforming to development standards. B. Additional residential units may be added to a multifamily structure nonconforming to development standards if the addition conforms to the development standards of the zone and does not cause an already nonconforming structure to become more nonconforming to development standards.
