"Aquaculture" is the cultivation of aquatic animals or plants under controlled conditions in compliance with Title 7 of this Code as applicable. "Aquaponics" is the integration of aquaculture with hydroponics, in which the waste products from aquatic animals are treated and then used to fertilize hydroponically growing plants. (Ord. 29312.)
